HOW TO FIND CRANSTON HOUSE

Driving from the north (M25)

Exit M25 at Junction 6 taking signs to East Grinstead along A22

On approaching the town centre pass Homebase and fire station on the left before entering the one way system. Immediately after pedestrian crossing turn left onto A264 (Moat Road) to Tunbridge Wells. When in Moat Road, turn into the third road on the right (Cranston Road) to find Cranston House on the left. If you miss this right turn you will arrive at a roundabout where you can turn round.

Driving from the west (M23/Crawley/Horsham)

Take the A264 to East Grinstead. At Felbridge turn right onto A22 and follow signs for East Grinstead.

Driving from the west (Gatwick Airport)

On leaving north or south terminals follow signs for M23. Enter M23 following signs for Brighton (not London). Take the first exit following signs for A264 and East Grinstead.

Driving from the south (Eastbourne/Brighton/Lewes)

Take the A22 to East Grinstead.

On approach to town centre pass Wealden House on your left, Woodbury House and Sackville Community College on your right. At the bypass roundabout take the sign for the town centre. At the next mini roundabout turn right following signs for East Court/Leasure Centre/Police/Council Offices. Take the second left where Cranston House is 100 meters on the right. If you miss this left turn you will arrive at a roundabout where you can turn round.

Driving from the East (Tunbridge Wells/Kent)

Take the A264 to East Grinstead.

Cross the town boundry and pass the Queen Victoria Hospital on your right. Turn left at the second mini roundabout and  then the first right where Cranston House is 100 meters on the right.

Driving from Mainland Europe (France/Belgium/Netherlands)

On arriving in the UK follow signs for the M20/A20 (London). Exit M20 at junction 3 following signs for M26/M25 and Gatwick. Exit M25 at Junction 6 signed A22 East Grinstead.

Foot passengers arriving at Gatwick

Collect your bags and then before you leave the baggage arrival hall, phone one of the taxi companies listed below for transport to Cranston House, East Grinstead, RH19 3HW. The taxi company will give you pick up instructions and your taxi will arrive in about 10 to 15 minutes. This will save you about 40% of the cost of the 'signed' taxis at Gatwick.

Walking from the station

Walk straight ahead out of the station passing Sainsburys on your right, over the roundabout and up station road with the Mid Sussex timber yard on your left. Cross over the next roundabout and turn left along the far pavement passing Rumours Wine Bar on your right. Take the foot bridge over the bypass road and pass the children's playground on your right. Turn right onto the next footpath and pass the football field on your left. At the road junction turn right. Cranston House is 200 meters on your left. The walk should take about 15 minutes.

Walking or driving from The Queen Victoria Hospital

On leaving the hospital turn right into Holtye Road (A264), pass over two mini roundabouts and take the first left (sharp turn) into Cranston Road. Cranston House is 100 meters on the left.
